With its CLIC-CLAC systems, the Fraction bed belongs to the functional cross-mechanism range, which can be put together entirely in your own way. Fraction stands for the chosen base. In the case of this sofa, it is a black frame with black metal legs and without armrests. The range of CLIC-CLAC systems gives you a choice of 6 different bases and therefore several leg and armrest options. You can choose from the following models:

• Fraction (without armrests, black metal leg)
• Balder (with oak leg and armrests)
• Aslak (without armrests, oak leg)
• Junius (with upholstered armrests, black metal leg)

Choosing the Fraction sofa bed?

Once the choice of base is made, you also have a choice of 4 different mattresses: classic, pocket spring, latex or softspring. The mattresses all differ in terms of mattress filling, firmness and comfort. You choose the mattress that best suits your needs and use of the sofa bed. You can view and try out the mattresses in our showroom.

Once the choice of mattress and base is made, you are ready for the next choice

Have you decided which base and mattress suit you best? Then you can choose the colour and fabric. You can choose a fixed upholstered mattress where the upholstery is attached to the mattress and the ‘look’ will therefore be padded. Do you prefer a loose cover? That's possible too! This allows you to easily have the fabric cleaned and change the colour of the sofa bed in the future, making it easy to give the sofa a different look. It is also possible to start with a fixed upholstered mattress and buy a loose cover later. In short, together with the choice of various fabrics and colours, the variation possibilities with these models are endless.

Solid mechanism

The functional transverse mechanism to which the CLIC-CLAC systems belong has a very solid system and a good slatted base. Under this slatted base, when you raise the sofa, there is a storage space where you can put some bedding, for example. In addition, the system is very easy to operate and you not only have a sitting and lying position, but also an intermediate position called the relax position or lounge position. This causes the sofa to lean back a bit more and you will, in other words, be a bit more reclined.

When the sofa bed is folded into the bed position, it is also possible, for all models, to adjust the headboard in several positions. This adjustable headboard turns the sofa bed into a large reclining sofa and allows you to sit back and watch TV or read a book. The systems offer your own customisable comfort for long-term use. Since all parts can be ordered separately, you can easily replace a part, such as a new mattress or a new cover, if necessary. In other words, a sofa that can provide long-term service.
