This variant offers all the qualities of the standard Penelope, but with a comfortable addition: an integrated sofa. During the day, you create a cosy seating area for relaxing, reading or watching TV. When it's time to sleep, the bed comes forward smoothly over the sofa. So you make the most of your space, without compromising on comfort.
Like the other Penelope models, the Penelope Sofa is also equipped with a strong and reliable mechanism. The folding bed is available in sizes 150×200 and 160×200. As standard, the cabinet has a depth of 35 cm, so it takes up little space. Would you like to integrate the cupboard with side-by-side hanging cupboards? Then choose the version with 62.3 cm depth, so that all elements form one beautiful whole. In this deeper version you can add optional storage shelves and behind the headboard there is a handy cushion storage space (not present with the 35 cm variant).
Thanks to the strong mechanism with gas springs, the folding bed opens smoothly and in a controlled manner. Once the bed is fully unfolded, it locks automatically for optimal safety. It is suitable for a mattress up to 18 cm thick. Do you want to be able to fold up the bed? Then we recommend a slightly thinner mattress. The duvet can be folded away neatly with the fastening straps provided. A unique feature of this folding bed is that the spring mechanism is completely concealed in the sides of the frame, ensuring a sleek and calm design without any visible technology.

The Penelope Sofa range can be expanded with various side cabinets, such as wall cabinets, shelves, open cabinets and top cabinets. In this way, you can put together a complete wall arrangement to suit your exact requirements. In addition, the Penelope is also available combined with a desk or a table. This allows you to furnish your living room, guest room or studio with complete multifunctionality. The Penelope foldaway bed is also available without additional ingredient.
