As standard, the foldaway bed is only 35 cm deep, taking up little space. Would you like to integrate it with neighbouring wall units? Then choose the version with 62.3 cm depth, so that all elements form one beautiful whole. Inside, you can then add optional storage shelves and behind the headboard is a handy cushion storage space. (So this is not present in the standard 35 cm. variant)
Thanks to the strong mechanism with gas springs, the folding bed opens smoothly and effortlessly. Once the bed is fully unfolded, it locks automatically for optimum safety.
The folding bed is suitable for a mattress up to 18 cm thick. Do you want to be able to fold up the bed? Then choose a slightly thinner mattress. The duvet can then be neatly folded along thanks to the fastening straps provided. A unique feature of this folding bed is that the spring mechanism is completely concealed in the sides of the frame, resulting in a sleek and calm design with no visible technology.
The Altea fold-down bed range can be extended with various side cupboards such as wall cupboards, shelves, open cupboards and add-on cupboards. This way, you can divide an entire wall.
