Suppose you want two sleeping places for your (grand)children or lodgers, but you don't have that much space in the room. Then it is handy if the beds are above each other. A bunk bed is then the ideal solution, but it is even more convenient when they can be folded down during the day. This leaves you with much more living space. Is that possible? Yes it is! Easy Living sells folding beds which are designed as bunk beds! This variant works the same as the horizontal folding bed, however, you have two sleeping places one above the other. If only one person needs to sleep, you can also choose to unfold only one of the two beds. Thanks to the gas spring mechanism, it is very easy to unfold the bed!

The folding beds which are designed as bunk beds are available in several versions. This way, you can choose the variant that suits you. There are also cabinets available to place above and next to the bunk bed, so that you create a single unit with storage space and sleeping options. In terms of choosing the mattress, you also have several options. You should pay attention to a few things when choosing the mattress.

The mattress should not be too thick. We indicate the maximum mattress thickness per bedside cabinet. Of course, the bed cupboard must be able to close!
In addition, we do not recommend mattresses with latex filling or memory foam/memory/tempur. These fillings cannot stand upright, causing the fillings to sink and you will get a bulge in your mattress.
