The folding bed Penelope Board is a high-quality, multifunctional solution with a sleek and modern design. This variant offers all the qualities of the regular Penelope, but with a clever addition. A fully integrated desk! During the day, you have a generous 50.3 cm deep work surface, ideal for working at home, studying or creative activities. And when you want to rest, simply and effortlessly swivel the bed forward. Items up to 19 cm high can stay on the desk! Think, for example, of a closed laptop. It can simply stay there. Just like the standard Penelope, the Penelope Board is equipped with a strong and reliable mechanism. Available in bed sizes 150×200 and 160×200. As standard, the folding bed is only 35 cm deep (excluding desk), so it takes up little space. Want to integrate it with side-by-side wall units? Then choose the 62.3 cm-deep version, so that all elements form one beautiful whole. In the deep version you can add optional storage shelves and behind the headboard there is a handy cushion storage space
(not present with the 35 cm variant). Thanks to the sturdy mechanism with gas springs, the folding bed opens smoothly and in a controlled manner. Once the bed is fully unfolded, it locks automatically for optimum safety. It is suitable for a mattress up to 18 cm thick. Do you want to be able to fold up the bed? Then we recommend a slightly thinner mattress. The duvet can then be folded in neatly thanks to the fastening straps provided. The Penelope Board range can be extended with various side cupboards: such as wall cupboards, shelves, open cupboards and add-on cupboards. This allows you to divide an entire wall as you wish and make optimal use of your space.
In addition, the Penelope is also available combined with a table or bank, allowing you to furnish your living space with complete multifunctionality. The Penelope foldaway bed is also available without additional ingredient. A unique feature of this folding bed is that the spring mechanism is completely concealed in the sides of the enclosure, creating a sleek and calm design with no visible technology.
