Slaapbank Aslak hoort met zijn CLIC-CLAC systeem bij het functional transverse mechanism that can be put together entirely in their own way.
Aslak refers to the base that is chosen. For this sofa bed, it is a base with a beautiful oak wooden leg and without armrests.
The CLIC-CLAC system programme offers you the choice of 7 different bases and therefore a choice of multiple leg and armrest options.
To assemble the model, follow these steps:
1) Chassis choice:

Without armrests

• Aslak (oak wooden leg)
• Leg (black metal leg)
• Minimum (chrome leg)

With armrests

• Balder (with oak armrests)
• Lomira (with chrome armrests)

2) Mattress choice
Once the chassis has been chosen, you also have a choice of 4 different mattresses:

• Classic
• Latex
• Springs (pocket springs)
• Soft spring (extra-soft pocket springs)

The mattresses all differ in terms of mattress filling, firmness and comfort.
You choose the mattress that best suits your needs and the use of the sofa bed. You can view and try out the latex, spring, and soft spring mattresses in our showroom.

3) Choice of cover:
Once the choice of mattress and base is made, you are ready for the next choice
As standard, the mattress is fully upholstered, with the upholstery attached to the mattress, giving it a tufted appearance.
Would you prefer a loose cover? This is possible for an additional charge. With a loose cover, you can remove the cover and have it cleaned. You can also purchase a loose cover in the future if you want to change the colour of the sofa bed or if the cover needs replacing.
You have a choice of the following 4 covers:

• Nordic mattress (standard fixed upholstery with a tufted look)
• Nordic cover (removable cover with a rounded surface and stitching at the corners of the mattress)
• Sharp cover (removable cover with raised seams around the edges of the mattress)
• Quiltus Cover (removable cover with quilted detailing across the entire mattress)

Please noteIf you opt for a loose cover, the fabric will be loose around the mattress, and when you sit on the sofa, folds or wrinkles may appear.
This is a normal characteristic of a loose cover, and you can simply iron it smooth again.
If you prefer a sleek, smoothly finished sofa, then this look might be less suitable for you.

4) Choice of fabric
Are you clear on which base and mattress best suit you? You can then choose the colour and fabric.
You have a choice of 10 different fabrics.

5) Upholstery for seat frame
A cover for the backrest of the frame is always included. This upholstery for the backrest is always supplied in the same fabric that you choose.
The seating area of the frame is not upholstered as standard. If you prefer a fully upholstered frame, you can also order a cover for the seating frame.
This option is purely aesthetic. If you omit it, you will see the black metal of the frame at the bottom.

These are all the choices that can be made to get your sofa bed exactly to your liking.

All functions of the mechanism:
The functional transverse mechanism, to which the CLIC-CLAC systems belong, has a very robust system and a good slatted base.
Under this slatted base, if you lift the sofa, there is a small storage bag where you can put some bedding, for example.
Furthermore, the system is extremely easy to operate and you don't just have a sitting and lying position, but also an intermediate position called the relax position or lounge setting. This means the sofa leans back a little more and you, in other words, will be sitting back a little more.
When the sofa bed is folded into the bed position, it is also possible to adjust the headrest to multiple angles. This adjustable headrest transforms the sofa bed into a large reclining sofa, perfect for watching TV or reading a book in comfort.
The systems offer customisable comfort for prolonged use. As all parts can be ordered separately, you can also easily replace a part in the future if necessary, such as a new mattress or a new cover.
